The artwork is part of the project Thoughts from the Teacup, which was based on a book written and illustrated by Maria Mateescu, and an exhibition at the National Museum of Literature.
The artwork takes us into the dreamy world of scattered thoughts, in front of a teacup. From the teacup, a tabby cat emerges or hides, above which a small cloud floats - a sign of completely carefree days... Pisa seems to be looking to one side, ready to run away or planning something...
I named the painting Pisa, because the model I painted after is my own cat, named Pisa. You can see her here presenting her painting, because she likes to be present at all important activities.
The painting is very suitable for animal and tea lovers, for those who usually ponder, with their head in the clouds, to dream, to contemplate and to enjoy the small and simple things that make our lives beautiful.
Dimensions: 24/33 cm
It is an art print made using the giclee technique on special Fine Art Matte paper with a matte, velvety appearance.
Author: Maria Mateescu
