Original painting – "The Book of Life" – "Thoughts from a Teacup"

Original painting, watercolor on 300 gr. paper. The painting is part of the series Thoughts from the Teacup and confronts us with the ideas from the books we read, over a cup of tea. The writings spill into the shadow of the teacup's body, and the teacup is an occasion for meditation and reflection on what we have read. In the painting, the artist imprinted a quote from Scripture, as being what she pondered.

Dimensions: 400/482 mm. The artwork is protected in a black plastic frame with a passe-partout.
